Term: Peroxide Pop Stars

Featured in The Vogue Book of Blondes were peroxide pop stars who made their mark by going blonde.

The book, written by Kathy Phillips, Health and Beauty Director of Vogue magazine, referenced Madonna, Blondie and Rod Stewart as classic Peroxide Pop Stars.

Many other celebrities followed the lead of the first Peroxide Pop Stars including Gwen Stefani who became famous for her platinum blonde tresses.
